Open position – Computational Electromagnetics Software Engineer

Our R&D team develops a high‑performance full‑wave electromagnetic (EM) simulation platform built on the Finite‑Difference Time‑Domain (FDTD) method. We are looking for a specialist to expand our team and the existing code base with new capabilities and keep the solver at the cutting edge of RF simulations.

Role Overview

As a Computational Electromagnetics Software Engineer, you will focus on adding new features to our established C++ FDTD solver. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement enhancements, improve existing modules, and ensure seamless integration with the current architecture.

Education

Ph.D. (or M.Sc. + substantial experience) in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Computational Science, or a related discipline

Key skills

  • Proven experience with full‑wave EM methods, especially FDTD.
  • Strong C++ proficiency (modern standards C++14/17/20).
  • Experience implementing dispersive material models (Drude, Lorentz, Debye) is a plus.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
  • Ability to take ownership of feature delivery while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teammates.
  • Clear communication for documenting design decisions and interacting with other engineers.
