About Open-Engineering and Oofelie®

Oofelie®, the “multiphysics” solver dedicated to multiphysics CAE, was born in 1991 in the LTAS, in Belgium.

After ten years of developments under the leads of Igor Klapka, Alberto Cardona and Michel Geradin, Oofelie® began its industrial life with the creation of Open Engineering in 2001.

The core business of Open-Engineering being to bring Oofelie® Multiphysics to industrial markets, the developments since then were oriented on strong couplings and openness.

Open Engineering proposes now a suite of solutions adapted to anyone’s needs at any level.

The flexibility of this offer is a key element in Open-Engineering’s success.
